Well it is December 25th here on this side of the dateline in the Marshall Islands and just wanted to send you this early warning report that we awoke early this morning to some clatter up on deck and I dashed above to find foot and hoof prints and Ruby found some reindeer droppings. So it appears that Santa is well on his way to visiting all you good boys and girls wherever you may be. Whatever our religious, spiritual and personal beliefs might be I’ll use any and all opportunities to let you know just how much I treasure the great gifts of you and your friendship.

As this Gregorian calendar also draws to a close and a new year approaches my reflections are vividly flooded with warm memories of all the rich experiences I’ve had and serve to remind me what a charmed and blissful life I so undeservedly lead. Mostly this is thanks to having such special people in my life and so as most of you spend these next few days surrounded by family and friends I wanted to let you know that I’m there with you too and you here with me in spirit and thought.

Wherever in the world this brief note (a rare gift itself coming from me!) may find you I hope you too are using the occasion to be truly living IN life’s moments and enjoying each to the max.
